Music Magazine Front Cover: Edit 7
Creative and Design Decisions: Edit 7
On this cover, I changed the picture. I did this because I wanted to experiment and see what it would look like if I had a more candid picture with more happening.
With this image, I tried to go for something different so I added
more props and changed the angles of the model and of photography to get different
effects and expressions
Differences in the model:
In this image the model I not considering the camera
removing the intimacy that I liked from the last image. It seems less intense
which is something I quite liked. The model is also wearing more such as glasses,
a head scarf and her hair braided down. I believe it over complicates the image
as it loses its simplicity. In adding these changes, I do not believe the shoot
was successful.
Differences in background:
In this series of images the images are taken with the model
sitting in a chair that has a cloth laid on top of it. The tapestry still is
hung behind her busy less visible opposed to it being one of the focal point.
Differences in writing on Page:
The name of the magazine is written in white like most of
the the other cover but it is placed in the middle of the page. It makes the
whole page more symmetrical and less spontaneous. The tagline of the magazine
is written slightly bigger and is clearer to be seen which is something I did
not necessarily want. The little of the issue is written in black and is much
easier to see. The font is more classic and simple.
